Two Things at Once

It's been LONG since I last blogged so I'm going to attempt to do 2 events in one sittting. Starting it off with.....bah, you know what? Forget it, I'm just gonna do a recap of everything that's happened xD.

Alright, since it's pretty much the END holidays, I can officially say that it was wasted. =(. With much much grief and depression, it was wasted to the CORE. Let's see, it started off with Khai's Party.
                                                        ____________________________________________

On Saturday, I went for a movie with Jane. Marley and Me. And GOOD LORD was it good. I freaking cried like a fat girl. Probably cuz I too have a labrador....and she WAS once a puppy many moons ago. *Sighs*. I've also concluded that the cutest puppies in the world are Labrador puppies. Say what you will about poodles and all else you can come up with, Lab puppies OWN YOUR FACE.

Moving on, Jane went off about 5 plus so I was left in 1u figuring out what I should do while waiting to go to Khai's crib for the party. I decided on going to Starbucks and playing RO on my DS. ( i flow with the acronyms Lol ). Later on when it was finally time, I walked over to his house and the party started soon after. For more stories on the party, refer to this link....

Moving on...
_________________________________________________________

LEO camp was pure ON-ness. It was seriously better than I expected. Earlier in the day, A-BY, Mike, Hwei Cheng and I met up in 1u to have lunch at Dave's where we ordered the nastiest looking pizza and it tasted freaking awesome. Due to a cup or Starbucks I had earlier while waiting for them, I only ate 3 or 4 pieces. But who am I to say anything, Chengy only ate ONE freaking piece and left the crust there to regenerate or something. After lunch, we went looking for a ring for Mike's girlfriend and well, let's just say that's pretty much all we did. Made a quick stop by Popolar to grab some stuff for games and walked to school, leaving Hwei Cheng to take a turn to her house to take her stuff and to take a shower with took her quite awhile. Now, count the number of times I have said the word "take" and "took" and multiply it with your age. Got the answer? Now divide it by the relative molecular mass of Hydrogen and then multiply it with Avagardo's Constant. That answer you have there, it NOTHING. You freaking wasted your time =D.

We went to school and I started to get it on by telling people what to do and mopping the floor with A-BY. Lol. We had games while I gave each camper a character they had to "be" later at dinner time. After 27 characters were assigned, it was finally time for dinner. It was supposed to be a barbeque. Note, SUPPOSED. It was more like whoever was around the make-shift pit has food and those who weren't, well, let's say we didnt eat shit. Lol. On the other hand, it was hilarious watching the people potray their characters the way they did. One tag-team combo I absolutely loved was Dillon and Marcus' Oprah and Moto-moto interview.

Dillon : Our special guest is here, thank you for joining us.
Marcus: Thank you.
Dillon: So tell us, what do you like?
Marcus: Big, huge girls.

LOL man..

It was seriously cacat-ed to the max. Although there were some which I shudder till this moment....Hwei Cheng calling Howie "Howie Baby" and telling Jeremy he's "so hot". Ohmyhairyunderwear. I was disturbed by that kau kau. Because many of us didn't have much to eat, Miss Lim, our LEO teacher, Marcus, Jyb Seng and I went out to buy 15 Ramli Burgers to feed the children. There, we made teacher CRY. Yes, she laughed so much, she cried. Ask me yourself on what we did. It's hilarious.

When we returned, Lion Niza gave a impromptu speech. After that, I revealed the identity of each person's character. Here are a few.

Dillon- Oprah
Marcus- Moto-moto ( the fat hippo dude from Madagascar 2 )
Michael- Batman, and might I add, a damn fine one.
Khai- Nacho Libre
Hwei Cheng- a) foreigner who thinks Jeremy is hot
                   b) naive girl who loves Howie
Aby- Bitchy girl who complains about everything
Mingyue- Megatron

and there were more which I can't really recall xD. That night we played insane games thanks to Aby and the gang who thought of it. Fast forward to about 11.30pm. Teacher wanted us to hit the sack but I told everyone before-hand that we'd be sleeping at 3 or 4am. Teacher didn't like that idea. So me being the awesome-ly reasonable bertimbang rasa camp commander, made everyone change into their pajamies and set up for bed. Obviously NO one was about to sleep anytime soon but heck. We had a row of chairs to divide to hall to a girls&guys section which failed epicly. There were a few gangs of people and I was with Michael and Khai with Chengy,Marcus,Ronald and a few others watching us engage in a Co-op mode in RO. It was epic. I was their healer while Mike and Khai freaking beat the shit outta every monster that came our way.

We also played Mario Kart which I won without effort. Lol. The "GT Babes' came to watch and scream my name. And by GT babes, I'm talking Crystal Chai, Hwei Cheng, Sonia, and Keng Ean. Eww right? haha.

As th night got later, people started to drift off into sleep leaving those nocturnal one's awake. I was one of them cuz I was walking around making sure everyone was alright and silently counting them in case anyone was missing. To be honest, it's really quite eerie being in school at night. Even so, I had a sense of security. Not by the safety in numbers, no, I knew deep inside, if anything attacked us, I wouldn't be the first one to die. Why? Cuz I'd probably throw a weaker person at the "attacker" and think of a strategy while it ate the weaker person. Wahahahahh.

It was a COLD night. A cold, COLD, COLD night. It was funny having sleeping on the floor cold, while Chengy kidnapped my sleeping bag. But heck, I wasn't even asleep xD.

The next day wasn't as fun as night, but we had a good time altogether. I'm glad we had the camp. I think it was good that the people got to know each other better and became closer friends.

Exams Are Done

For now....xD. Hellow World. How have you been? Has the Universe been treating you good? Has Mother Nature paid her rent? Has Father Time done the laundry? No? It's okay. =D

Exams are over and done with, like I said, for now. Why? Never mind why. Anyway, life has been HECTIC. Assignments being tossed around like dead rabbits, homework piling up,nose boogers collecting and left unattended xD. Many many things trouble oh-so-badly this term.

Tomorrow is Khai's birthday partay =D. Why? Cuz on the 12th of March 2009,

AU YEONG KHAI WENG
TURNED
FREAKING 17

HE'S OLD,
HE'S DYING,
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT,
HE'S PRETTY MUCH CRYING.

Happy birthday doinkus. Lol. I don't know what else to blog about cuz I'm just so brain dead at the moment =D

Updates

Whoa, it's been like...2-3 weeks since I last blogged. Just goes to show how much my life is occupied with the butt-loads of activities mushed up here and there everyday.

Anyway, what's new little people? I'll tell you what's new. I've sorta fallen sick and have been sick for the past 4 days. Ridiculous I tell you. If this keeps going on,I'm probably gonna have the worst Form 5 sick-period ever man.

Back to the updates, school has been painful-ing. Keeping up with so many assignments, projects, competitions and studies ( lol ) has been seriously challenging. Thank God that Oonie keeps me alive with her ever-present-cheer and joy. Apparently if you've checked out my MSN name...

m i n g y u e Has A PS3

And no, I'm not freaking kidding. It isn't even funny man, xD. My sister, Ming Li won the Junior Manga Challenge which is obviously a manga competition for primary and secondary students, respectively. We all, including herself did not expect to win anything but God moves in mysterious ways (can I have an AMEN for that?) and to cut the story short, we won this beautiful piece of magic. As if that wasn't enough, we got a WHITE one instead of the plain old black ones you see in 1Utama. The black one here is the secondary's category's winner.

Now what do you have to say about THAT? Lol. Anyway, the madness didn't stop there. My family had 5 lucky draw tickets and I went up to collect 4 of them. I could tell by the faces of the people that they thought we rigged the system and freaking got everything we could xP.

Alas, our ps3 is currently useless because we have yet to play it and buy essentials for it which are EXTREMELY expensive. But heck, it looks awesome in our house =D.

I shall leave you with a quote from someone famous but you've probably never heard of him, so anyway....let dead cows lie...

When you're an English Literature student and you've read a book called "1000 Quotes For Your Reading", you've pretty much got it covered...in Coocoo land..

Hello people. I'm bored =D. I dislike corn cakes for no apparent reason and I think that spoons should be called KARAMGGEES. =D

More DiGi Videos

Heylow people =).

After watching The Big Bang Theory's 2 seasons, I decided to bring down the intellectual level of viewing and go ahead and check out whether other videos are up for our DiGi's Ground Squad Dedications...Guess what? There ARE 2 that came up =).

In this one, we scared the hairy-cows out of someone while singing Hot & Cold

And here's something for another DiGi Celebriteen, Saban who was in the toilet...no thanks to Azizi xD

Merentas Desa

Two brilliant days ago, February the 6th,a Friday to be exact, came the day everyone had NOT been waiting for. The horrible cross-country marathon thing-a-ma-jig.

Nothing compares to it, waking up early in the morning, eating a cold banana to supply you enough energy to run through the streets of PJ feeling the wind in your face. Stepping in puddles of disgusting rubbish-water and watching drivers on the road watch YOU run like a fool. Really, nothing compares to that. Sigh.

Anyway, this year,I decided to run with Shafiq and we were both quite impressed that we didnt stop running/jogging from the school's main gate right till the Centrepoint traffic lights. Right after that, fatigue over took us and we collapsed from exhaustion and rushed to the hospital in a green and purple ambulance with instead of sirens, played Simple Plans, "Welcome To My Life".

LOL

Like that'll ever happen. Haha. You can't really blog much about running now can you? So I'll cut the story short and tell you that I won 6th place in the whole thing. I'm very proud with myself this year....

FOR FREAKING LYING TO YOU =D.

Now why in heaven's name would I do something like that? Well, because like I said, you can't really blog much about running. Moving on, after the prize-giving ceremony, we had Choral Speaking practice and SOMEHOW,SOMEWAY became the conductor for it. There's so much I need to learn and I completely surrender myself to the team. Lol.

After Choral Speaking, Hwei Cheng, Aby, Mike and I went to get some McGees'. That's right kids, I call it McGees. Why, you ask do I call it that? Well, apparently it's sounds way loads cooler when you do...never mind that. We tried learning how to make paper roses and before I continue, allow me to point out...Abigail, you're a horrible paper-rose-maker xP. There wasn't enough time to finish it so we just packed it up and went our seperate ways. *ish*

Now, something REALLY interesting happened on the way back from Centrepoint to my house. I was crossing the road in the rain however light it was. On my right, I saw a white Kancil coming up from the Kampung Kayu Ara road and I was like,"Ohkay,I've got enough time to cross". So there I went crossing the road when I stepped on a rock which made me ALMOST slip and fall. You know that we all have that moment in life where we almost fall and somehow regain balance in a matter of minute seconds and just stand still? Yeah, that happened to me and I was just standing there in the middle of the road. And then, BLAM. The Kancil hit me. Thak God it wasn't going fast and all that happened was that I fell on the ground. Thankfully I was able to protect Cheng's box of roses from getting wet at least. Lol.

Later on I got home and called Miss Lee Kah Yen and told her what happened. She said something so profound, I was speechless...FBB.

Fat
Big
Bird.

Lol. Fantastic. =). Here are some random pictures of the day in school.

Back With A Smack

RAWR

It's time I came back to blogging. So much has been happening and I really don't think I should leave you poor things out of my utterly-happening-life. Yes,it brings me great joy to share with you what I've done which makes me, me and not you, me. That aside...let's get to the JUICE.

It's the oh-so-horrible year of SPM and things are getting KERAZEE. But of course, fun here and there goes a LONG way and thus, my latest fun-time was "Passing it On with DiGi's Music Telegram".

You ask..."What's that?" Well me dear goon, go check out www.digi.com.my or whatever their website is and find out. Basically it's about sending a song to a friend / enemy / loved one and by the song, a certain message is conveyed. Nifty eh? Very much so especially if you're one of those Ground Squad people who ambush innocent everyday paserby's with a song.

How I got into all this is still surprising to me even till today. On Saturday, I was at Aaron's CNY party and Zenny invited a whole load of DiGi people. Including Celebriteens, and their manager, Alan. Later on, Aaron and I sang ol' favourites with harmonizing Great Escape, Thunder, Top Of The World and some others lah. Alan liked what he heard and asked us whether we wanna earn some fast cash by joining the DiGi Ground Squad singing live for people here and there. To cut the story short, we agreed and I roped Ming Han in too.

Come Monday, we went to Alan's office in Damansara Perdana and met up with him and 3 other members of the Squad. Where the others went, I have NO idea. We met Essa, Anna, and Bella. Chose some songs and practiced them a bit. We were supposed to go to K.L the next day.

Come Tuesday afternoon at about 4pm, we met up at the same place and waited for further instructions from "boss". Apparently they were busy so we just practiced some more and decided to go for a drink at some nearby mamak. The amount of stares and weird looks we got from people cuz we were wearing DiGi uniforms was hilarious. At that time, it was raining freaking cows and buffalo's I tell you. We ran like fat girls in the rain to cross the road screaming random words.

We found out later on that since it was raining too heavily,we'd be doing all the shots and takes around the area. I'll explain more as each video comes out, but here's video number 1
. So anyway,in this video, I'm not singing cuz Alan asked me whether I could pretend to be a student in a hostel...this is what we got. XD...

Pure retardness. Lol...

Christian Fellowship: Episode 1

As planned, we had our first Christian Fellowship meeting on Friday 11/7/08. Yesterday, to be exact. For ages we've been planning it and waiting for the right time to start it. FINALLY, it came into being.

Yeah, we were late and all. But so what? At least about 15 of us went to Abigail's house for CF and as we all got there, I took a quick glance of the faces in that room. Some of them were familiar....YEA RIGHT. Lawl, ALL of them were familiar. Including the cute little tiny miniscule petite micro From 1's X]. These were the people whom I now know, have a desire to come and meet with fellow Christians for a time of fellowship and discovering God.

The meeting started off with a brief introduction to who we were, what church we attended and how old we were. That aside, then came the icebreaker. This is where I would like to sadly admit that we are a pathetic bunch of jokers who can't even keep a simple beat up and think fast. Hui Ling's "Think-fast-and-say-it" game made us look like complete fools. In a good way though. Everyone was smiling, not because the game went well of whatever, rather, at the utter stupidity of each other =0). We are the epitome of SLOW I tell you. With all honesty, the game was killer. In the sense that, it was impossible to have the flow of the game on for more than 3 turns.

Next was worship. I had prepared just 3 songs which were We Fall Down, Beautiful Saviour and My Redeemer Lives. I said a prayer to prepare our hearts to worship God and thanked Him for letting us meet however few people there were. I have to say that it went well and everyone was enjoying themselves one way or another ( I guess ) XD. For My Redeemer Lives, I decided to teach them something new for the chorus. No one really got it, but as the song was being sung, it just sorta came together and sounded nice =).

After worship, the most peculiar incident took place. We were all smiling and happy that we sang a song of declaration that OUR Redeemer lives. Suddenly Eugene decided that he wanted to bring us all down to a meditative pace. Awkward glances were exchanged during his "inspiring words". After that, we shared a bit and I said a few words on how I would like to see the CF expand and bringing in PRE-believers. I'm not gonna say NON-believers, rather PRE. =). Anyway, we then prayed for a few things and Madeline being one of them with her conjunctivitis. Such sadness when I thought about it. She really wanted to be there for the first meeting and then her eye made her unable to come. Pooh, there's always a next time =)

The meeting ended well and the leaders stayed back for a meeting and something light to eat. My conclusion? The meeting went well. And I'm sure it will be better and better as the weeks come. BUT, we need another meeting. Seriously XD
